Fake it till you make it! ((Without lying))

The theory behind faking until you make it is pretty easy once you get the hang of how to actually achieve it. The problem is not faking it till you make it it’s what sometimes is associated with faking until you make it. With a lot of practice you can overcome the complications that some (and I say some) might experience with faking it until you make it. By overcoming any road blocks to faking it you will achieve all your desires multiplied.

Faking it until you make it concept is pretty basic. It means acting as though you have achieved your goal while you are still working on it. For instance, if your goal is to be happy you can smile all the time even when you are not happy. The Dr Oz show ran a story about faking it until you make it and described how some women actually got Botox to remove the frown lines until they were actually able to smile on their own consistently. Why faking it is an important step to accomplishing your goal. You need to feel like you’re making progress to be able to overcome any obstacles and achieve your actual goal. But it goes beyond that. Using the example of being happy as ones goal, you’ll find by forcing yourself to smile all the time you’ll actually begin to feel happier. You no longer will be forcing yourself; the smiling will become more natural.

You are already happy so this means nothing to you? Ok what if your goal wasn’t being happy? What if your goal was making or having more money? I heard a story once of a couple who told everyone they won the lottery, this included their family, friends and co workers. I don’t think they mentioned how much only that they had won. Then they began to act as if it were true. They spent money on stuff. They didn’t hold back. They carried themselves like millionaires. Eventually the faking it paid off – they the won the lottery. I’ve been told it’s a true story. The reality is simple faking it until you make it is an old concept that can be used across the board in your life. Simply act as if you have already achieved your goal.

So what’s this complication or problem you speak of that’s associated with faking it? Good question this problem will only affect those who are serious prosperity students or have a freak nature to tell the truth all the time. One of the fundamental principles in life is honesty. Being honest brings rewards unto itself. As a serious student of prosperity I would not be able to lie and say I won the lottery. I find that fallacy may withhold my own good. Like I said this complication is not going to affect everyone. Personally, I take telling the truth to another whole level than most. So I have to find ways of faking it without breaking my fundamental truth.

Can you fake it without lying? Yes. You can fake it without being dishonest it’s much harder than simply putting out in words that you have successfully achieved your goal. You must believe you have achieved your goal mentally and spiritually without speaking any untruths. Mentally it can be accomplished by holding the truth that you have accomplished your goal and the reward is on its way to you. You can continue to act as if the goal has been accomplished and this affords you the same faking until you make it mentality that everyone else has. You also can thank GOD (or the universe) for providing you with the outcome you seek. Thank God as if the outcome has been accomplished, by keeping the mental picture that the reward is on its way as you have already achieved your goal. The difficulty comes in when others want to know why you are on cloud nine and you can only talk in what appears to be circles to them. Instead of saying, “I won the lottery” even though you are acting as if you won the lottery by all appearances, you would have to say “good fortune has come my way. I’m celebrating how life always provides me with these types of rewards.” However, you can’t elaborate. As you are only celebrating the essence at that time, not the physical receipt of the cash. This is much harder to accomplish. Others will begin to become frustrated without you explaining the details of your good fortune. So it takes a strong will and desire to remain true to yourself and abundant in good fortune as it’s on its way to you!

Faking it until you make it is a very successful way to live life. You’ll find by employing the technique you’ll be on your way to accomplishing your goal. Acting as if your goal has been accomplished will bring about amazing results. And you can do all this while remaining true to yourself. Your desire will become your reality.

A simple affirmation to attract your desires!

From Catherine Ponder's book Open Your Mind To Receive there is an affirmation that reads:

"All that is mine by divine right now comes to me speedily, richly and freely. I am receiving it now."

You can use this affirmation daily to bring about all the good you seek in life. Say it. Think it. Believe it. It can be your reality!

Believe and Trust

If you believe and trust in yourself you can accomplish anything. Sure it sounds cliché but it’s true.

Remember we attract what we think. So if you are filled with confident, supporting, nurturing thoughts you will attract only the good of what you wish to accomplish. However, if you are filled with only the negative thoughts where all you do is doubt yourself, doubt you abilities, doubt the reality that you can have anything you desire, doubt those who are sent to your life to help, doubt your chances, basically think only negative thoughts about what you want to accomplish you won’t accomplish it. Instead, you’ll attract exactly what you are thinking about – your inability to succeed, failure. So remember to keep your thoughts positive, don’t waiver. Like Peter Pan said find your happy thoughts. Stick to the positive and you will attract positive results.

Have a stress free workday.

In life we tend to get carried away with the hustle and bustle of the working world. Whether we are a corporate mogul, a new business owner, an entrepreneur or stock boy we are all the same when it comes to stress. Ever find yourself with those feelings that there is never enough time in one day to accomplish all tasks, or to much pressure put on our shoulders to perform at an optimal level, and how about those days when you are fumbling to make sure that its done right when we are simply to tired to think straight. We all are affected and impacted by days like these. How we handle them makes all the difference in the world.

To stay happy, joyful and stress free seems nearly impossible when those overwhelming days are upon us. Yet, staying happy and joyful will actually help you tackle those days. Keeping an uplifted and confident spirit is exactly what you need to tackle those days with ease and comfort. You can eliminate the “dis” from discomfort by remaining calm through your day. By remaining happy and joyful through each day you’ll find that stress simply melts away, or better yet, doesn’t impact you at all.

Consider yourself standing in the middle of your work hub, your central location. Now see all the stress of the day rushing at you.

Right before the impact of the stress smile, laugh, sing be upbeat and realize that a force field of joy has now surrounded you.

When you look at that stress approaching instead of impacting you it is now bouncing off your newly found force field.

Remaining calm, enjoying your day, being happy and joyful can be the key to your stress free day.

How To Release Anger

The proverbial “they” say that releasing anger cures depression. I don’t know if it cures depression. However, I do know that keeping anger bottled up inside you is unhealthy. By festering on your anger you are not being positive or prosperous. While we find it hard sometime to release anger it’s in our best interest to do so. We will find we will be happier and back on our true path once we are passed the minor set back caused by anger.

Try the following forgiveness release to help let the anger go:

“I forgive everything and everyone who could possibly need forgiveness in my past and present. I forgive positively everyone. I am free and they are free too. All things are cleared up between us now and forever.” Catherine Ponder

No you will not magically feel the anger released when you say the affirmation once. You need to repeat the affirmation daily until you actually believe it and well it works.

Another method to use in conjunction with the affirmation is making a list of all people who have, well, pissed you off. If it’s the first time you are writing this list name everyone all the way back to grade school making sure you include the little boy or girl that hit you or threw something at you, the teacher that embarrassed you, all of your ex relationships, friends that weren’t really friends after all, and so on. If you are not writing this list for the first time, yet still remember those people with a cringe, make sure to include them on your list.

These methods used together do work. While I have not forgotten people from my past that have wronged me, I don’t hold anger or resentment toward them anymore. For those I do, I include them on my new lists!

Release your anger and continue to be positive and prosperous.

It's 2010 - Now What?

Each year in life we are faced with new challenges, we are provided new inspirations and we have been afforded the opportunity to use our new found talents. Unfortunately, we find ourselves fearing the new year, the new decade instead of praising the new opportunity to flourish. We see lack, debt, job loss, war, disease, abandonment, loss of love, self doubt, and most of all, fear. We see fear all around us and we let it consume us.

Shake away the fear. Even if the your neighbor, your friend, or your country is having financial difficulties, struggling with anger and war, feeling a sense of insecurity for their well being - SHAKE IT OFF. Don't let their problems be yours. What someone else is experiencing or has experienced does not need to be your experience. Set your own path. Set your own goals. Be true to yourself. You have unlimited potential and no one but you can take that away. Use your potential. Set yourself free from all fear.

As with all change comes the HOW TO, how to go about that, a new fear that you can't do or accomplish that, and the mindset that you don't have tools you need, and so on and so forth. HOG WASH! You can accomplish anything you set your mind to. I promise you. If you believe in yourself and see yourself accomplishing your goals, you will be and have everything you desire.

Try these affirmations to help on your journey to everything you desire in 2010:

"Divine intelligence let the master plan of my life now reveal itself to me. Let the master plan of my life now begin working for me. I give thanks for my master plan of success. I give thanks for the perfect results of that master plan. With God's help I now plan my way to success; with God's help I now begin to experience the results of my master plan."

"My success is big, powerful, and irresistible. Nothing succeeds like success. I now go from success to greater success in the name of Jesus Christ."

*Both affirmations are from Catherine Ponder's "Dare to Prosper"
*Remember God and Jesus are my words, you can supplement them with your words
