I Am Whole

"I am whole, perfect and complete. My thinking is clear as I claim the Truth of my being. I observe current body performance and am grateful for the signal to change my attitude and feelings. I mentally transcent appearances and surrender all negative opinions. I affirm that this body functions according to divine design. I am center of health, strength and perfection. With unfailing sight I see the perfection in all things. My hearing is sharp. I am receptive and obedient to the Inner Voice.

I choose to have change take place and picture myself expressing the freedom in feeling good. My blood is an enriched, purified, renewed and vitalized. Every organ is a center of my life, energy, strength and power. My nerves are sensitive lines of Divine communication, steady and peaceful, rooted in Truth. Every bone, muscle, tendon and joint moves in perfect coordination. Health expresses in every part of my body and reveals Perfection already there. I am grateful for this total spiritual healing."

Suffering Loss Each Day

When someone you know dies you suffer loss. You go through stages of grief. Most people tell you to seek counseling and it’s probably a good idea. Unfortunately, you just aren't ready to hear what they are saying. I'm thinking it's one of the stages of grief. The level of grief we suffer generally is based on the closeness of the relationship with the one who has passed on.

It's interesting in society how we all know that when someone dies we will experience grief. Thereby, everyone logically expects some sort of grief loss after the death of a family member or friend. When death occurs because of sudden illness, accident or tragedy we are generally placed in some sort of shock prior to going through the stages of grief. Yet, logically we begin to realize that we are going through stages of grief and accept that is the way it is.

What about those who have a family member or friend suffering from a long term illness? In some instances, these family members have been going through this for so long they are almost relieved when their loved one passes, like they have been freed from the pain and suffering and are finally at peace. In those instances, the individuals probably have received some type of grieve counseling during this process. Other times the individuals are not prepared for the actual death because they have been involved in the dying phase for so long it's been nothing but a roller coaster. Perhaps, the patient it getting better then takes a turn for the worse and this process repeats for months, sometimes years. These individuals are so heavily invested in the day to day they haven't found counseling for themselves. It's those who are inundated with the day to day of someone's illness they haven't had a chance to seek counseling or get any help for their grief so when the end comes it's overwhelming.

While it’s hard to take time out for ourselves, especially when someone is dying right before our eyes, it's important. We need to have some down time. A chance to process our own feelings. A chance to eat, sleep and recharge. A chance to pray. A chance to simply breathe. This does not make you a bad person; it just makes you a person. It's ok to grieve.

This is a great site to help you with stages and information of grief:

Prayers have healing properties

While reading a book from my favorite prosperity writers Catherine Ponder, I learned that the lords prayer has healing properties.

Testimony was given that by saying the Lords Prayer every night it can bring healing to illness.

Since I have bad migraines, I've decided to start incorporating the Lords Prayer in to my daily mantras:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
[For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.]

Foregiving those who are all wet!

Everything in my environment, including Crefelo Dollar's recent sermon, has focused on forgiveness. We know that to forgive is divine. We also know that to forgive is sometimes hard to swallow.

For the past two months my neighbor has been using our water spout and hose. How do I know this? When you turn on the water it squeals, all so not pleasantly inside the house. Therefore, when it's turned on and we are inside, reasonable deduction is our neighbor is once again steeling our water, using our water spout and hose. Why? I guess they have their reasons.

I mentioned the misuse of our water supply to my better half on more than one occassion. Each time I'm promptly met with "what's the big deal," "don't worry about it," or my personal favorite, "aaaggghhh get over it." Those may not be the exact quotes, but you get the idea. I actually stopped referencing the incidents.

This weekend my neighbor once again uses the hose. It's the holiday weekend so my better half is with me when the SQUEAL goes off. "What's that?" Inquiring minds want to know. I quickly inform, "well that's the neighbor steeling our water AGAIN."

Turns out the neighbor was using our hose, to shower her grandson. Allegedly the grandson has just puked inside the house. So grandma brought the child outside to finish puking and be hosed off. Let's examine this for a minute. Our neighbor does not own a hose. Our neighbor has (I would assume) a shower in her house. My neighbor placed their child directly between both properties, mine included for this child to puke and be hosed off. Wait. Let's reexamine - they don't own a hose! Why bring the kid outside to be hosed off, if you don't own a hose?

Of course I'm smug inside, because I have been moaning about these incidents occurring all along. But not until GUESS WHO, hears it, it becomes an issue. We both say something separately to our neighbor and plenty to each other. It becomes a bitter source of contention.

It's not about the money. The water bill isn't that high. It's just unbelievable someone would have such audacity!

So after turning on The Secret and talking it over until we are blue our faces, we do something completely unbelievable. We got up and went to K-Mart and bought our neighbor their own hose. It was presented to them the following day.

It felt good. The secret for me was forgiving them before we made the purchase. The following day I felt much better. I think my better half was bitter a while longer, than I was. The good thing is we are solid enough in our relationship that these minor annoyances don't disrupt our relationship - that's the greatest gift I have been given!

Blessed Be...

Forgiveness is important - inability to forgive may act as a blessing blocker

I watched Creflo Dollar today who was speaking about blessing blockers, but focusing on forgiveness. He stressed the need to forgive the transgressions of others, to not hold anger, to let go and forgive.

The bible says "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. ...But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions." You remember that right? It's a whole prayer, many of us have said in church, many times in our youth:

Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.

You know Cref was really hitting home about forgiveness. He really clarified simple words that have passed my mouth many, many times and still never really noted it. I never gave it the due attention that it required.

All of us have people who have wronged us. We have fought with family or friends some of these fights ended relationships, caused much heartache and we still harbor ill will toward these people. Maybe you have been wronged on a whole different level, maybe you suffer abuse, rape or molestation in your past, maybe you have suffered the loss of a child by kidnapping or death, or other type of crime -- these wrongs carry much more weight, anger, harsh bitter feelings that are not easily forgiven.

Whether we have family squabbles or serious wrongs done to us, we need to learn to forgive. God tells us to forgive. Can you really forgive everyone for everything? I say we can try. I think that God would be happy to see that we are doing everything in our power to at least try to forgive.

Let's start with forgiveness for all the little transgressions done us. Clear those away first. Then look toward the spider webs locking the bad memories, try clearing those webs slowly and working toward forgiveness in GODS name. At least we can try. We can show our willingness to take the steps asked of us. With time working toward forgiveness seeking spiritual guidance along the way, maybe, just maybe we can get where we need to be.

In the mean time, as we begin forgiving transgressions, we can clear our blessing blockers and start to reap the benefits each of us are entitled to receive.

GOD BLESS. If you don't like this entry -- it's ok - I forgive you :)
