A boost from the Pastor

A few months back life was just overwhelming. My mom had been in the hospital for many weeks, traveling a lot to be with her and trying to keep my business a float, plus planning a wedding. When things are rough sometimes there's always that one additional thing that just seems to "break the camels back" so to speak.

Well, for us it came as a very large bank complication. Before we knew it money we had put a side was gone! Just like that, over night, bam no longer in the bank. It hit right in the middle of everything else that was going on. We were beside ourselves. We had wavered in our faith some. Life was just pushing and pushing. It was a very large test of faith. Not sure, I passed that test!

Meeting with my Pastor during this time frame he gave me inspiring words, encourage me to keep my faith and put me back on the right path. Additionally, he blessed us with an affirmation that we can use when we have that "sick to the stomach, not just right feeling."

Divine Love is doing its perfect work in this situation right now!

With his support, this affirmation and our faith we continued to work our way through muddy parts of life.

While we did loose a very very dear friend and we mourn him daily. The good news is that my mom is improving more and more each month. Business has turned a new direction. Our wedding was a blissful success!

At the rehearsal dinner, in our rented villa (were we were about to host a weekend of events) my Pastor said "look at where you are. Remember not so long ago you didn't think you'd be here." I was so nervous about the nuptials I just shook my head in agreement.

Looking back, he was right. Look at what we did accomplish. More importantly, look at what we continue to accomplish. I'm proud of who I am, where I am with my life and I'm excited about tomorrow!

(yes I interchangeably said I and we, because I'm looking at myself individually, but also remember I'm not on this journey alone!)
