Each day we are plagued with a variety of fears. These fears range from our children’s safety, to our ability to pay the bills each month. Fear wears many hats. It comes in all sizes and shapes. Fear does not discriminate. Everyone suffers from the condition of fear.
With fear ruling our daily existence we find ourselves attracting complications in our daily lives. The complications are those vary fears that we put out in the universe problems with the children, illness, lack of money, or just plain lack. The fear puts out our worst intentions thus attracting them back to us.
By eliminating fear we can start to reverse the cycle. Once the cycle starts reversing we open ourselves up to positive thoughts versus negative thoughts. The positive thoughts allow us to attract what we want versus what we don’t want by using the power of positivity. By working toward eliminating fear in our lives we open up our ability to attract success.
How to eliminate our fears
It’s easier said than done to actually eliminate fears. We all fear. Even the greatest positive thinkers in the world have an occasional fear. However, we can greatly reduce our fear by replacing it with positive thoughts. It’s a process that is learned over time. It takes practice, daily focus and our effort to beat fear and replace it with positivity.
Here are three steps you can start using to help reduce the fear in your life: Change your word choice, visualize the change, and believe in your ability to change.
Change Your Words: Replace Negative Words
You can do it. The first fear you need to eliminate is the one that says I can’t do that. “I can’t do that,” is a negative thought. You need to eliminate negative thoughts and words from your daily life. First when you hear yourself say something negative follow it by CANCEL. Then replace it by the positive opposite of what you have just said. In this case “I can do that.”
Remember the little engine that could. It’s a great lesson we teach our children, but forget as we get older. State everything you say in the positive. If there is ever a time when you just don’t feel you can say the positive that’s ok for now, instead simply don’t say the negative. In the times when you can’t say the positive opposite, but have already spoken the negative just say CANCEL and move on with your life.
We are all going to say the wrong thing from time to time. By catching and noticing what we are saying and reversing our words we have a started the process of positive thinking. Eventually you will find that positive words flow easier from your mouth than their opposite. Over time you will begin to notice you have changed your word choice.
Visualize the change: see yourself saying the right words
In this instance, we are working with the ability to do it and the affirmation that you can do it. “I can do it,” it’s time for you to see yourself saying those words. Now see yourself saying all positive words.
Take a moment and close your eyes. Picture yourself a year in the future. Your kids are getting ready for school what words will you send them off with? Picture yourself sending them off with a positive message. “You will have a great day today.”
See yourself changing your words to remain positive. The benefit will be that your kids will now start to think that today they are going to have a good day. What’s the harm with that? You can change what you say. It just takes a little practice. Visualizing yourself changing your words will help that process along.
Believe in your ability to change your words:
You can change what you say. You see yourself changing what you are saying. Now it’s time to believe that you are changing what you are saying.
You have told your kids they are going to have a great day today. Can you close your eyes and visualize that great day they are having? Once you have conquered saying it and seeing it you can actually start believing it. See them having that great day. All of sudden you will believe they are having that great day.
The benefit is your words now flow from your mouth with conviction. You honestly believe they are going to have that great day. The kids feel the confidence behind your words and they too start believing they are going to have that great day. By the end of the day by golly those kids will tell you what a great day they had.
Eliminate those pesky fears and replace them positivity. You said it. You saw it. You believed it. Guess what? You changed it. You do control your own life. Life can be anything you want it to be. With the tools discussed here you can start attracting your success.
