Thank You - Prayer Request Follow Up

On April 20, 2008, I asked everyone to pray for my mom who had to have heart surgery. First let me say thank you for the prayers and support that have poured in for her from across the country.

She has a rough ride. After the surgery she had to remain on life support for about two more weeks. Each day thus far has been a roller coaster, up and down. I'm very pleased to report that as of today she is a rehab unit, speaking on her own and walking around the room. We are still waiting for her to be able to eat on her own. After that and with more therapy we hope to bring her home in another week.

Once again thank you everyone for all good thoughts, prayers and love that was sent her way. I was actually able to decorate her room a few weeks ago with all the cards and we have a drawer for all the gifts! She loved everything she received it really brightened her outlook. Thanks
