Yes, that's a headline story on the news. A woman who has tried everything else to quit smoking called her local jail and asked to be locked up. Of course, her request was denied.
Can anyone say 15 seconds of fame? I don't think this woman has tried everything else.. There are treatment centers for this type of detox. However, I say all you need is your faith. Faith in yourself and your higher power.
It's not easy. But you have to declare you are done smoking. You then need the will power to quit. So first the declaration and then the announcement. I did it. I quit in February 2006. I simply declared it and believed in the power of myself and my faith. Keep the faith. Reach out for help if you need it.
When you are truly ready to quit you will. If you don't think my tactics will work. Make yourself visit places where individuals are being treated for throat cancer. Ask for materials, watch videos, read books, do whatever you need to finally make the ultimate decision to quit.
No one can quit for you. You must make the declaration to quit. Then have faith in yourself and your higher power.
I send blessing to this woman and hope that she to can declare her will power and finally quit!
